Soccer Scheduling Frequently Asked Questions

Q. When will the schedules be available on-line?
A. The target date for publishing schedules on-line is generally the Thursday evening prior to the first day of play on the schedules.
First Round schedules for 2010 should be available later in April, subject to field conditions. Due to the heavy snows this winter, the start of the outdoor soccer season will be delayed until the fields have dried sufficiently (for the safety of the players and the preservation of the grass). The first days of play of the Preliminary Round for 2010 will be posted here later, when field usage is permitted.
Q. I registered my child for soccer but have not yet heard which team he is playing on.
A. We do not have information on individual players. Please contact your community coordinator for information as to where you child has been placed.
Q. I registered my child for soccer but there are no teams listed in our community under her age group.
A. Sometimes players are amalgamated with players from another community. Ask your community coordinator what team your child has been placed on.
Q. When will the schedules be available on-line?
A. The target date for publishing schedules on-line is the Thursday evening prior to the first day of play on the schedules.
Q. I know my child's coach but I cannot find his schedule on your website.
A. We do not schedule all teams. Sometimes younger teams are scheduled in-house rather than through our site. Stronger teams (tiers 1, 2 or 3) and older teams are scheduled by EMSA. Check www.edmontonsoccer.com for schedules.
Q. Why is there one day in the schedule where our team is not scheduled?
A. Some divisions have an odd number of teams, so that every night a different team will have a bye. This is generally an opportunity for the team to use the time for an additional practice.
Q. There is an error in the scores listed on the site. How do I get it corrected?
A. If you are not the coach, please contact your coach first regarding any suspected error in scoring. Any errors in scores should be sent to the age-level director or statistician listed on your schedule. They will investigate and adjust incorrect scores.
Q. When are the preliminary round statistics blanked out for the main round?
A. On the morning of the first day of play for the main round. All age levels are re-initialized on the same day.
